YUMMY!!!
If you are the type to wonder bout the history , geography, physics and yeah chemistry of your favourite snack while you're still gobblin them down, then wat are you waiting for??Jus devour these questions...
1)X is a very old food item mentioned in the Kannada writing of Shivakotiacharya in 920 AD, and it seems to have started as a dish made only of fermented black lentil. A document from circa 1025 A.D. states that lentils were soaked in buttermilk, ground into meal, then seasoned with black pepper, coriander, cumin and asafoetida. Some of the different varieties of X are standard X, mini X, Kancheepuram X, stuffed Xwith a filling of potato, beans, carrot and masala, ragi X, pudi X and curd X.Now what is X??
2)A __________ is a cylindrical clay oven used in Transcaucasus, the Balkans, the Middle East, Central Asia, Pakistan, India and Bangladesh, in which food is cooked over a hot charcoal fire. Temperatures in _______ can approach 480°C (900°F), and it is common for these ovens to remain lit for long periods of time to maintain the high cooking temperature. The oven design is something of a transitional form between a makeshift earth oven and the horizontal-plan masonry oven, and is used almost exclusively for live-fire, radiant heat cooking.(Fill in)
3)Although the dish is generally believed to have originated in Italy the word "X" is derived from the Greek word meaning "trivet or stand for a pot", "chamber pot". The word was later borrowed by the Romans to mean cooking pot. The Italians then used the word to refer to the dish in which what is now known as X is made. X is both a form of pasta and also a dish made with alternate layers of pasta, cheese, and often ragù.
4)Though the origin of the name is unclear several different possibilities have been suggested as to why this food item has been named so:
The meal's price when it was sold in North America
The age of the poultry in days
The number of days required to marinate the chicken with the spices
The year in which it was introduced to the menu in Hotel Buhari
The number of chillies meal
The number of the meal on a menu.
5)The origin of this dish XY is traced to the heyday of the textile mills in Mumbai. The mill workers used to have a short break for lunch. A full lunch which was not rushed probably needed more time than what was available. A light lunch was also preferred given that physical work followed immediately. A vendor understood this and came up with this dish using items or parts of them available on the menu. The role of roti or rice was taken up by X and the curries that usually go with rice were amalgamated into Y. Initially, it remained the food of the mill-workers. The dish eventually found its way into restaurants and spreading over Central Mumbai and other areas. What is XY??
6)The arrow points to a place that has lent its name to a popular snack...
7)The following people, or restaurants, claim to have either "invented" the ____,a quick fix meal, as it is known today.Today it is the staple diet of most Americans
Charlie Nagreen 1885, Seymour, Wisconsin
Menches brothers 1885, Hamburg, New York.
Fletcher Davis late 1880s, Athens, Texas.
Louis Lassen 1895, New Haven, Connecticut.
."I would like to buy a ______"
8) The term "X" is a Sanskrit word meaning Nectar. Y is derived from the Sanskrit word which means Milk
It is an essential dish in many Hindu and Muslim feasts and celebrations in South Asia. While the dish is traditionally made with rice, it can also be made with other ingredients such as vermicelli. The recipe for the popular English rice pudding was, in fact, derived from when Britain had occupied India.
X=Y=??
9)X-isation is a complex, poorly understood process that produces hundreds of chemicals. Here is an overview:
equilibration of anomeric and ring forms
sucrose inversion to fructose and glucose
condensation
intramolecular bonding
isomerization of aldoses to ketoses
dehydration reactions
fragmentation reactions
unsaturated polymer formation
Thus X is prepared by this process. X refers to a range of confections that are beige to dark brown in color, derived from the X-isation...
10)Some historians claim, that the name "______" was created in response to the "Blue Laws" which said that ice cream sodas could not be sold on the Sabbath because they were too frilly and the clergy started preaching against them. The dish has gone by other names at various time, Some accounts have explained all these names as attempts to avoid offending the sensibilities of the devoutly religious.
The biggest rivalry for the invention is between Two Rivers, Wisconsin and Ithaca, New York. This dispute dates back from the 1970s with letters and barbs between the mayors of these cities. This is definitely serious business and a matter of pride for these towns. The two cities have sparred in a good-natured "______ War" for several decades.

The last man in the picture connects the first three pics!!!
This according to me was a reallly tough question to crack. But nakki has done it.Kudos to you. Thanks a lot for your suggestion.I'll definitely consider it.
As for the answer here goes. The man in the last picture is Norman Pritchard.
Pritchard was the first Indian athlete to participate in the Olympic Games. He was also the first Indian and first Asian to win an Olympic medal. That was in the 1900 paris olympics. However In the historical records section Pritchard was listed as having competed for Great Britain in 1900.
He served as Secretary of the Indian Football Association from 1900 to 1902.
He later moved to the United States where he became a silent movie actor under the screen name Norman Trevor. He acted alongside Hollywood legends like Ronald Colman in movies like Beau Geste (1926), Clara Bow's father in Dancing Mothers(1926) and Tonight at Twelve (1929).

TRY NOT TO GOOGLE THIS OUT!!
This was a pretty easy connect. The answer obviously being Ayn Rand-one of the most inspirational writers of all time!!
Angelina Jolie has been confirmed to play the role of the leading lady in the film adaptation of the book-The Atlas Shrugged.
A quote from Rand is featured in the American Adventure exhibit in the Epcot Centre, Walt Disney World.
BioShock, an award-winning video game released in the summer of 2007, is built around a story influenced by Rand's philosophy and Atlas Shrugged.
That's a statue of Atlas.
Ayn Rand was first introduced to the world as an extra in the movie-King of Kings.
Hats off to you Raji and Harshitha for getting this one right
