The sec pic is the flag of Cyprus from which the word Cuprum comes.
In alchemy the symbol for copper, perhaps a stylized mirror, was also the symbol for the goddess and planet Venus.

The map shows the countries who are the major producers of copper
The goddess venus was represented using Cu in the olden days and was also thought to be from cyprus and hence the symbol of venus

And the first pic beats me.Probably the Blue colour is the clue as it is the colour of the crystalline form of Cu...
